The good and bad about Sketchware Pro
Just like me and you, Sketchware Pro isn't all good. But when we try to meet someone for the first time, we try to show them our good side. So let me tell you the good side first.
The good side
Sketchware Pro's source code is available on GitHub. It has a beautiful M3-design website aswell, which is provided under the MIT license. You can easily download it there.
Sketchware Pro allows you to build stunning android apps with ease. It has extensive documentation and an incredible number of YouTube videos & tutorials by the community. The bad side
Unfortunately, while Sketchware Pro can work for developing complex and stunning android apps, it might not be the best. Android Studio is the official IDE for developing android apps, so it always has the latest features and compatibility. Sketchware Pro doesn't support gradle - something that makes dependency management on android incredibly easy. That's by far the biggest con anybody could find about it. But the developers say it is because Sketchware Pro is a mobile device and mobile devices don't handle gradle too well.
Otherwise though, Sketchware Pro is the perfect place to start your android development journey and is incredibly easy to use, whilst allowing you to bring your ideas to life.
